Make Home Made Bubble Bath Liquid

Make Home Made Bubble Bath Liquid

by Tiffany Provost

Most women like to indulge in a warm, soothing bubble bath. It is a great stress reliever and can help heal your tired muscles. Bubble liquid can add up in cost over time. But you've just got to have them! It would be silly to deny yourself this simple pleasure just because of the cost. Follow these easy steps and make your own bubble bath liquid.

To make your own bubble bath liquid, gather together the following items:

Find an attractive container. Be sure you have a nice looking bottle, jar or plastic container to put your finished bubble bath liquid into. If it is going to be for a gift, find something at the discount variety store, re-use and recycle by getting an empty bubble bath bottle that you already have.

Mix the ingredients together. Once you have collected all the required materials and the container you can start to mix the bubble bath. Into a large mixing bowl, place the glycerin, shampoo and water. Mix these together using your hands. An electric mixer is not advised as it will make a bubbly mess!

Add fragrance. If you opt for a fragrance, this is the time to add it to the mixture. As a guide, use about 15 drops of scent or essential oil to every cup of shampoo. Again, gently combine by hand.

To prepare the bubble bath liquid as a gift, decorate the bottle or jar with a lovely ribbon or artificial flower along with a hand written label. This is one gift which will be much appreciated by the relaxed and calmed recipient!
